About Felix and Turner Claim Solutions:
Felix J. Turner III, AIC, is the Managing Member of Turner Claim Solutions. He is a graduate of the California Culinary Academy (2001) and holds the AIC designation from The Institutes, earned in 2020. With over 20 years of experience in property damage claims across 17 states, Felix has established a diverse expertise in the industry. He has provided consultation and participated in alternative dispute resolution (ADR), offered expert testimony, and facilitated settlements between carriers and policyholder advocates in both commercial and residential claims. Felix has extensive experience working with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, attorneys, engineers, public adjusters and other specialized professionals to achieve equitable settlements in appraisal, mediation, and other ADR processes. He is a member of the International Association of Umpires (IAUA), and holds certifications as both a WINDSTORM Appraiser and Umpire. Felix's roles have included property damage appraiser, umpire, adjuster, building consultant, and claims manager.

Property Damage Appraisal
Insurance appraisals are an effective way to settle disputes between two parties prior to litigation. Appraisers are appointed by both the carrier/defense and the insured/plaintiff for an unbiased conclusion to a claim. In the event the two appraisers fail to settle and Umpire (mentioned below) is set in place to assist in the finalization of the appraisal.
Property Damage Umpire
Insurance Appraisal Umpire is chosen by either the two appraisers or the court system to assist in a disinterested manner to help two appraisers in the event of a disagreement of the appraisal panel.
Consulting/Document Review
Work to review and analyze claim files, documents, expert reports for insurance or repair disagreements or any other property damage/repair disputes to help achieve a resolution.
Building Consulting
Investigating sites, analyzing property damage, coordinating experts and preparing reports to assist in moving disputes to a resolution.
Expert Testimony
To participate in mediation, depositions, trial prep or in trial as expert and/or witness.
Damage Estimation
Prepare or provide damage estimates in Xactimate software to establish costs at current market conditions for losses ranging from Wind, Hurricane, Tornado, Hail, Freeze, Sewer Back-Up, Flood, Construction Defect, Collapse and Fire.
